Ferrari's double-victory has become so usual that it's hardly worth mentioning any more.
A lot more exciting is what is happening behind Ferrari: BAR-Honda and Renault are getting established as "second-best" teams behind Ferrari while Williams and McLaren lose that status.
Especially disapointing is McLaren, with 3 broken motors on a single race weekend they have reached a new low.
The race itself brings nothing new, Schumacher pulls away from Pole, while Barrichello is trying to get to the top with a 2-stop strategy (instead of the usual 3 stops) which is working fine in the end.
Noticable is the performance of Sato who is driving faster than his teammate button the whole weekend and almost took Barrichello's 2nd place after his last pitstop. Unfortunately he has to retire because of a broken motor.
In the end, Schumacher wins in front of Barrichello, Button and the Renaults. |
